The
holiday season is officially over and things are beginning to return to normal around
our house. I will thoroughly miss eating
lunch with my husband every day and all the extra time we were able to spend
together. We finally were able to
celebrate my December birthday this past Friday evening. While I always celebrate with my family on my
actual birthday, J.T. and I also have a “birthday date” that is just the two of
us. We must be getting old, because I
wanted to go out to dinner and then rent a movie to watch at home on the
couch. I picked the movie “Trouble with
the Curve,” a story about an Atlanta Braves scout. The movie was enjoyable but some of the
language was a little intense. I also
resumed my weekly grocery store trip on Friday.
I was surprised to find organic coffee and milk on sale. It makes me happy to pay less than $6 for a
gallon of milk occasionally!
